tonight feels like a million miles away.

we made lao shi cry today.
since she is the BEST teacher we all ever had, we decided to give her the BEST surprise as a teacher's day gift. we changed the lyrics of the movie "lu bin hua", and we sang it to her. she was so touched she started crying(: she just made everyone feel so glad to have her as our lao shi.

so vann and grace went into the staff room to get lao shi out while we all congregated just outside the staff room door. they told her that they had a present which was too big for them to carry, so she went out to help them, and once she came out we all started singing really loudly. all the teachers inside were staring, and laoshi was reduced to tears. aww, and she was so grateful and everything she didn't know what to say. and when she started crying some of us also started tearing because it was just so, MOMENT. i mean we all just realized how much lao shi has actually done for us, and how we take advantage of her leniency sometimes. and how she lets us be fools in her class, letting us watch horror chain mail, letting us joke and laugh with her, and everything else. she's definitely one of the most understanding teachers this year. so really, xie xie lao shi. :D

oh and aces day workout.
it was all sweat and laughs. and of course, the infamous "pump your chest". our instructor person was the dim sum dollies choreographer, and he was good enough entertainment. we were all amazed, and we could stand there all day watching him move in this extremely hilarious manner in his silver/blue dance pants.
